Farrukh terms Malik Adnan beacon of light for nation against extremism

ISLAMABAD, Dec 7 (APP):Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib on Tuesday termed Malik Adnan, who risked his life to protect Sri Lankan national Priyantha Kumara from the mob in Sialkot, a national hero and beacon of light for the entire nation against extremism.

In a tweet, he said Prime Minister Imran Khan had appreciated Malik Adnan who demonstrated bravery to protect life of Priyantha Kumara while endangering his own life during a vigilante attack on the Sri Lankan national in Sialkot.
The minister also shared snap of the certificate of appreciation awarded to Malik Adnan by Prime Minister Imran Khan to recognize his bravery.
